is it too much trouble to tell me the RPO codes. on the glove box. (inside of door glove)? as-built it is.... those codes. all.
GM RPO 3Speed codes are MX1 and MX65
WHAT M code is there?
the crank bolt pattern is the same crank both engines and all trans, but not offset to clutch nor clutch pattern same.
i cant see your transmission there, id have to look at it with eyes or a photo to know.
off my page
M41 = 4 speed 03-72LE (electronic) A40 series, and close match is A44DE.
M65 = 3sp Auto 3L30 (with electric TCC lockup clutch but is not an electronically shifted tranny) and MX1
MM5 = Manual 5sp Type 1?
M59 = 5 sp manual too. Type 2?
is your car 2 doors, ? not even that disclosed (trackers with 2doors usualy have 3sp, but not true in canada, they had more choices sold there)
at a dealer, they would look up vin and use the serial at the end and see what the car had day1... in there GM data base.
I cant do that, nor can suzuki.
just GM. (GM today says, GEO WHAT?)
so it gets down to 2 facts RPO, or looking with eyes. at box.
sorry.....
it is a coin toss sure.
here is one more (acid test) even finds swaps, done....
under car, there is 1 engine plenum intake vacuum line on all 3speed boxes to the 3sp vacuum modulator
this proves its the 3speed in just minutes work and never lies. part ID #25 is it.
this fact ends assume....
