just keep in mind,
all sensors disconnected, with key on , STORE a DTC error code in ECU memory.
all connectors have locks, do not force them, suzuki dont sell them either (keep that in mind)
it's not harmful, its just its job to do that, those are ECU catastrophic fail monitors. but if the TP LINE IS CUT, BAM,
THE CONNECTORS have brass pins,
the needle must touch brass, to work.,, DMM set to volts. key on 0.5vdc on the TP pin. GRAY
if tad low or high turn the tps to attain correct voltage. (screws on it a tad loose) then when about, 0.5v (.2v is fail) tighten those TPS screws.
when you key on the ECU checks the TPS for illegal voltages, all modern car do, suzuki 1988 to now.
the only tricky part of all this is some suzuki have cold coolant fast idle device, that , holds the throttle open, making TPS calibration only\
possible only on a hot engine. (if present it holds the TV throttle open mechanically, ) I think your is done with iAC electric valve only.
the other pit fall is someone set the 2 throttle cables wrong (tight) one is throttle, other is , transmission, and 3 can be cruise.
keep in mind procedures in books assume, no other molestation, other wise all procedures, become endless..
in this case the real book has line, like "insure nothing is interfering with the TV")
TV means Throttle valve this brass plate. that includes, GUNK
see GUNK this can get so think, that the TV can NOT close, idle speeds will race, if present. a top clue.
