My frankensuk needs help.

I have a 1992 samurai with a 94 1.6 16v conversion.
Until recently it's been fine. Ecu has upgraded nichicon capacitors, had 5v output working fine,
cel comes on when key turned on, will not when diagnostic connector is jumped.
remove or turn off the nag switch, or the CEL will not work. right.
all usa federal cars have this switch, never,.calif, cars or outside usa.

on the back of the speedo cluster case is one 4pin cable, with 3 wires, just unplug this wire (it has slide switch on end and is only bad trouble.)



I have a 94 sidekick identical to my donor that conversion engine came from, swapped computer to check if reason it was not functioning. Still no check engine light when jumped, and yes I checked it functioned before pulling out of my running sidekick. Help!
