on non-usa cars, it works like 1995 cars, in that the EGR opens even parked, and will open when the idle is raised even .050" or more, the idle switch opens and bam EGR goes active.
this is true here, 1995 and to the first year any EFI car made, by suzuki vitara.
did you get your market code. of the VIN doe it have a vin, if not then there is a firewall plate with market code, and this tell me what EGR system is on car. and all else.
