that is correct the early car has less work,,, to get to the back off cluster
later the laws for side impact beams , make this more difficult.
thanks so much for sharing, other will want to do that, and is true getting the cable back and that square end dogged in can be hard, pushing from below.
but worth a try. push and spin, and it might just go in, .
yes, all cables in these cars all pull out.
top to bottom but not bottom to top.
this method works on vast number of car. many have just a flattened end square drive, taking up zero space , outside radius of cable.
