here are are all the parts, and all suzuki part numbers
part 13 on my car, was leaking it was the wrong part, not SUZ, and was to wide , some one used a generic flat copper washer off tractor.
the bolt there , interfered with that extra wide wrong part and caused the washer to bend , concave. and leak. (i had to get the washer fedEXP to me. fast)
I tried to find that very thin margin washer in all shops here, and FAILED. its way too thin (OD is very small)
using the correct parts, is key here.
part five 5, (yes hex) is the damper. and just unscrews. (CCW like any screw) Counter clockwise.
what it does not show here, is that the damper THERE, forms a sandwich, it hold the main fuel hose BANJO fitting
between 4 and 6 parts the BANJO fits. the FSM is the best source of facts here, we have it online, the 96 FSM is free, and shows all this under the rail pages.
suzuki uses BANJOS at ALL high pressure hoses. from here to the filter and to the tank, all rated near 100psi,
its not some carb parts, like on A samurai not at all. its high pressure.
the copper washers, have a critical OD and ID. (outside diameter and .....)
if the wrong part is used the parts, 5 and 3 will cause the wrong washer to distort. and leak.
read chapter 6e-3
this covers all this. pDF page 16 show the rail with all fittings !
see figure same page, C2-24 the man is removing the banjo fittings using 2 spanners, see that?
http://www.acksfaq.com/96-FSM-v2-6e3-c2-pdf.htm
this is the first step in engine removal this fitting, we do this first so it can be dry and stink free, benzene is carcinogenic.
here are the steps , on all MPI cars (rails)
1: reading the FSM, depressurize the fuel system. or you will get a bath infuel, if smoking , a trip to the grave. 60PSI is 60PSI.
2: then step 6e3 above. take off the banjo bolt cum pulsation damper.
here is my fuel safety page, the filter off is the most dangerous du to gravity and siphon possibilities.

that FSM covers most things on your car, but not OBD2 parts.
but the engine and rail and TB are the same. as is injectors.
the newer car has new electrics OBD2 systems.
