Rhino software and ALDL Cable...WIN!
#8
I just found this site - great one!
Regarding this topic (OBD1 interface) and some info on the fixkick.com - these interfaces are available.
Rhinoman has it's own design in offer.
Also I made similar OBD1 cable available for local users (here in Poland, Europe). Additionally I wrote my own software for it Smile
Some pics: http://skeletondevices.com/images/album_...index.html
I have also experimental prototype of standalone device similar to scangauge. It doesn't need external pc to diagnose car ecu.
Currently it works with pre-obd2 suzuki models - vitara, tracker, kick, baleno (aka esteem)

Just for the record Smile

Regards

regards, yes I do have ways to do this too.
but why no sell it. your self, sell it on EBAY.
the protocol is simple, we have it . (uses a checksum formattted command set that im sure you have discovered, , we use the Tech1 scanner with a Rs232 , communications analyzer to get the commands ) other reverse engineered the ECU ROM op codes.
only the signal levels are tricky,
and the mapping. of data.
here is my data map
