that is what i'd do, with any quad port, just knowing they are clear,is everything.
2nd is to learn if car is a moving or non moving fast EGR ECU. (so we know how to test it)
if you get any good results from my cheaters (jump hose) ideas; let me know
or learn other tricks, to pass/fail these parts. id like to know.
keep in mind testing the MOD valve is very tricky , on car.
the exhaust pulses can hit 5psi under full load,(instant, not average, max avg. is 2 psi @ 2500 rpm)
this funny MOD valve uses that pulse wave.

the bench test is easy. for sure.
it blows from P to Q and Q to P in hand.
and blows from either to the filter, in hand, if not the filter port is clogged,in the device, it can be cleaned.
if all that works, then i latch it up, by blowing in the B port. I blow gently the diaphram locks up. the valve.
