to understand all the takes one IDEA
the parts are all splash lubricated, unlike my real jeep has pump on tail shaft. Jeeps RULE. NV231
when not actually driving the sidekick vitara/tracker.
there is no splash lube at all, 5speed box nor the transfer case.
the front end of the case is dead.
and only shaft 17 parts are spun and are in neutral. so splash does not happen/,sorry none.
my NV231 jeep box has rear end oil pump, so RV towing is UNLIMITED.
suzuki is not.
here is my wrangler box NV231 and up same that is the Pump.

some folks drill 2 holes in the case and add there own 12vdc oil pumps here. 1 top 1 bottom holes, top hole over rear bearing set.
or buy kit that is crazy rare now.
