Some mechanics told me It can be messy trouble - engine block fault or gaskets on the block etc. Did someone had that experience? Thanks. Marko, Serbiaoverheating has many causes;.
even simple bad thermostat.
does the normal hot engine (normal cold), show steam out the tail pipe end, is bad head gasket.
the tests are basic..
1: Radiator leak down test. (special tool)
2: engine compression test.
3: fill engine with coolant again, when cold, only, at radiator cap, then cap back on, and run engine parked , only until engine is fully normal hot, then look for coolant leaks.
#3 is really first. make sure nothing under the hood leak coolant , at normal engine temps.
