worse yet is Suzuki vin code for engine is code 0, for 8v and 16v , but GM is U and 6, (6= 16v)
The GM has RPO code , and is way way better for all key options on car, glove box codes.
pick and pull junk yard 3 hours drive from my house has a 1999 V6 grand Vitara -the only description is says this: TRANS 4-Speed Automatic | 5-Speed Manual and the employees on site wont go out and look for me. I did a vin search and got this: : JS3TD62V0X4123475 Engine : 2.5-L V-6 DOHC 24V
Engine Size : 2.5
Engine Cylinders : 6
Transmission Type : Manual
Transmission Gears : 5
Driven Wheels : Four-Wheel Drive
but im not convinced --hoping I can do future part search by using VIN.
buy parts blind is never easy. even on ebay with stock photos. etc
these cars have many axle ratios , inside USA (3 for 3 gear boxes) and in 1992 (2 axles and just 2 boxes)
outside USA more.
the problem IS you never told me the country yet,
or better your donor cars VIN tag , sure they will not look and photo it to you.
the non USA car has the blue codes on the tag and market code
those codes tell me what trans is there and axles and all that.
the master parts list for suzuki works like this,
first you pick the country, the car then engine and drive train.
so see what was put in to any marked car world wide.
the first page in the EPC is country,
then I pick USA if USA
then land here.
see? then SQ625 H25 engine is v6)

so you have a TRACKER< that tells me you are in USA or CANADA, that name mean that. and aluminum word tells me it is 4wd.
so you what to buy 2 axles from 1996, V6 and put it on your car??
