Timing Issue

if you look at my new photo, you see that only 1 way  can work right.  1 way is dead, , the other is way off might run ,and only one way is GOLD.
the star metal   leading edge is the trigger, "X"
and only the ECU can advance timing as much as 40degree's BTDC,  at high RPM (once the static timing is set) ECU runs the show.
