Transfer case noise when in Reverse with brake on

the trans adapters  from main box to xfr case are the magic that does the fit,  3 main boxes,  3/4/5speed

Ok so before I purchased a new tranny I got a stethoscope.  Turns out it was the catalytic converter right next to the transfer case.  So I replaced the cat and all is good.

Glad that worked out.

If you hear a noise check that your cat hasn't started to disintegrate.
