So with my latest adventure firmly behind me, (http://www.fixkick.com/bbs2/Suzuki-bbs/s...hp?tid=330)
I've run into a new electrical intermittent problem (my favourite kind).
Car is throwing error code 45, and randomly losing power/not responding to the gas pedal. I can floor it, and it will do nothing, and then suddenly roar. Other times it will just drive normally.
It was doing this a while ago, although not quite as frequently, and so I swapped out a used TPS from my '96 4-door automatic (250,000km), and that seemed to make it happy for a while. I will confess that I made an educated guess to it's position and did not follow the calibration procedure, as I could not get my hand inside with a feeler gauge (how does anyone get their hand in there?!). However, it did work for a few months, until last night the same symptoms came back with a vengeance.
I do have a third TPS sensor, but the chances of two of them being bad seems unlikely. I know you said in your procedure that it can be done on the car, but I can't see how you did it unless you removed stuff. I would rather not pull off the throttle assembly if I didn't have to.
Incidentally, I'm also getting error code 23 right now as well. I'm going to try and have a closer look at my wiring harness, but any other suggestions for either of these codes?
