Lift kit.

I ordered a lift kit for my sidekick sport. It is a 2" kit. Will this help me or is it just for looks?? Since it doesn't change the frame I am just wondering if it really gives me any more clearance for four wheeling? Looking to someone who has done it I guess, to share his opinion.

raises CG, never good that.
but can help with reduced body damage, by 2 inches,
the axles and drivetrain are all still at frame height so is same.
