Cracked 1.6l block at 3 to 4 crank web - tuckev - 05-05-2016 Found another cracked 1.6l block. Have seen several of these. Crank web is cracked starting at the main bearing and goes all the way up between the #3 and #4 iron cyclinder liners. I have seen the crack go all the way up to the cylinder head surface. Always between #3 and #4. Anyone in the Tucson area have a spare 1.6l block (hopefully uncracked)?
