Cracked 1.6l block at 3 to 4 crank web - tuckev - 05-05-2016

Found another cracked 1.6l block. Have seen several of these. Crank web is cracked starting at the main bearing and goes all the way up between the #3 and #4 iron cyclinder liners. I have seen the crack go all the way up to the cylinder head surface. Always between #3 and #4. Anyone in the Tucson area have a spare 1.6l block (hopefully uncracked)?

all from running water for coolant, every one,
some just don't want to believe water expands, when if freezes
its the force that crack mountains in 1/2 for eon..... one of the biggest natural forces on earth.
besides quakes.

sad to see, no? nice engine wrecked for $8 of coolant...
