vent grille in front of windscreen - kthnos - 04-28-2016

does anyone have a diagram (or pictures) regarding the (dis)assembly of the front windscreen vents? i have water entering the cabin (driver`s left foot) and thats definately not good. it drips almost at the side of the ECU so its dangerous.

with A/C?
water water , everywhere but nary a drop to drink?
windcreen vents. (inside car>) or the cowl vents
where can water enter the cab .
well, if the dash wall is rusted trough, anywhere, is possible.!

door gasket or at door windows. nah.
the hood has a gasket (rear) that keeps water off the fire wall and if not, can find its way in to cab with things there not sealed like the brake booster and clutch cable.? clutch MC base , leaks water.

the windshield leaks, it's glued in. and (a special caulk, can break free and leak, unseen , very easy. ( my tossed coin lands here)

Common( guess, not)
the heater vent and A/C , fresh air is from the cowl box. in said box where the wiper motor hides,is a coffer dam (google that) and this dam
rises above the floor of said cowl box.
if the 2 side fender (cowl drains) are blocked the water in said box rise and then it's rim of the coffer dam. and flows in to the fresh vent like the glory hole seen on DAM. this water goes, where ever it wants, now... ( cant predict where (heater box ,evap box.) but, in the cab , left and right or both.
(tree leaves or needles fill it and it all clogs up)
if you see water on the inside of the firwall behind the ECU? you should see its source. (up hill) the ECU is not water proof at all, not much is... really.

if the water goes fully up the inside fire wall, it's the windshield bad. (glue /caulk)separation, failure.

2man test, one with water hose other in car, finding leaks. (age old problem)
one trick is remove drivers seat first,a lay a sleeping bag or blanket in its place on floor, now you can lay down on the job(lol)and see what leaks as other person
floods out side of car, at door, at winshield, all angles and flooding the cowl box.
the pop the hood last is fire wall soaked?
