Can blowing compressed air through the fuel return pipe / tube cause fuel pump to fail?
93 sidekick , 4 door , 5 speed

i'd hope not.
take off gas cap first.
compressed gas at what psi, 2 or 200.?
and for how long... 1sec or 1hr?
the pump on only runs 3 seconds, keyon.
and full time cranking
and of course full time running.

if pump is silent, and check voltage to it, key on for 3seconds,, 12v there, (2 man rule)
or cranking about 11v.
if pump runs and low pressure, remove gas cap, see if pressure goes to spec 30psi (about)
if same, low perss. check FPR, fuel press.reg for sluck open. or diaphragm vac. nipple leaking gas (bad FPR)
