clutch pedal shaft arm removed - arkhamsjoker - 12-04-2014 The clutch pedal shaft arm has been removed from the clutch pedal shaft without any index marking. My Q is, if I reinstall it and it is not exactlly where it should be, will I be able to adjust cluth pedal free play, clutch pedal position, and clutch cable by using the methods given in the Factory Service Mannuals. RE: clutch pedal shaft arm removed - fixkick - 12-04-2014 the shaft end is clearly marked. if off one way, the cable dont fit if off the other , its short strokes the clutch or if off, is non linear. (horrid effect , seen it) here are all marks. http://www.fixkick.com/tranny/clutch/mikes-clutch91/shrunk/html/image_2.html the lever is has a punch mark and so does the end of shaft. i guess, if lost, marks set the bottom cable to mid, adjustment range. then fit the top lever to spline so all slack it gone, and pray. GRIN ! RE: clutch pedal shaft arm removed - arkhamsjoker - 12-05-2014 Thanks for the reply, found the marks. Maybe the time spent in prayer should be for better eyesight.
