ECU Problem - Jameras - 09-02-2014 I have a Canadian 1992 Geo Tracker with 3 spd auto (3L30). Our CEL is on constantly while driving. When we use the use self diagnostic the flashes equate to code 22 which is TPS Sensor. I checked the TPS sensor readings with a dmm, Idle is good and the range is within specification. Anyone got any clues??? And there is NO reset switch for this vehicle here in BC Canada. Help . . . RE: ECU Problem - fixkick - 09-02-2014 22 is a hard failure. of TPS. (low reading) gray wire in tps, dropped to 0v, this can be the wiper in the TPS (a pot) breaking contact , as it wears. or the gray wire is touching ground. Or the TPS +5vdc (ref) wire is open intermittently. yes the reset it , pulling the dome fuse for 5min, dome = ecu memory. No nag switch in canada is normal , only usa market tag cars have it reset it and see of 22s come back. other reasons are the wires to the TPS are bad. corrosion on its pins./ |
