Where to buy an idler - Sylvanite - 07-19-2014 I'm planning on replacing my timing belt (water pump, etc.), and I'm having trouble finding a kit with an idler. I don't know that anything's wrong with mine, but I gather it's good practice to replace them at the same time. But I can't find one. I looked on rockauto.com and several other sites and the kits don't seem to include one. RE: Where to buy an idler - fixkick - 07-22-2014 that is correct this engine does not have an idler, as many,do,, the page is boiler plate. generic form. so shows 0 there. no year stated? above is 91, 8v. but watch out for false marks on the top wheel. and make sure the bottom clog is set to 94/ft/lbs. no less. the 16v cam wheel has 2 false marks. so.... |
