Remove the locking washers from the wheel studs - Vitalie - 07-08-2014 Hi there I planed to work on my brakes the other day, and when I got to rear brakes, after removing the wheels , there are so called "locking washers" on the studs. How do you remove these? I kinda tried to force them a bit, but they do damage the studs. So put the wheels back till i figure it out. I am sure it something simple. Thanks RE: Remove the locking washers from the wheel studs - fixkick - 07-08-2014 (07-08-2014, 08:29 AM)Vitalie Wrote: Hi there sure, i bet they brakes are still day one original. amazing huh. those are stud , drum keepers, it keep the drums from falling off.
