Sharing: no-tinsmithing rocker panels - jwunsch - 06-16-2022

Not sure what rules apply which country, here its quite simple at vehicle inspection.
 - If screw driver goes trough metal its automatically fail

And when repairing and you redo panels they must be like original, ie bending and molding to get same strength.

Well this week I became aware that at least here for ladder frame cars this is acceptable too (its about 2 by 4). And less worries driving over rocks when you can align them to where your wheels run.

   

If there is similar, just delete this post. No sure if there is existing so I just thought to share as I am happy with it.

And here its as finalized. Head welded shut and painted.
