Engine Surges while driving, Idles fine - J_pete15 - 09-08-2020

My Tracker Idles Fine but when I am driving it likes to surge or hunt. If I am on the throttle getting up to speed or off the throttle slowing down it doesn't do it, just in the middle. Almost like when there is just the slightest load on the motor it does it. Has been doing this for a while now.
I have a manual switch in the cab for the cold/hot idle as that was the easiest fix for that not working.
When the A/C kicks on it idles up auto like it should.
I'm thinking it might be in the ECM? Anyone else have this problem?

89 sidekick motor (what is the Intake manifold, what 89 parts are on this 93 car (hope only engine block)

8valve engine TBI, 1 injector engine G16a

surging a cruise is fuel mix wrong.
causes many but top are.
wrong fuel pressure and not steady , fuel pressure bad FPR or weak pump.
o2 sensor bad, unplug the connector to it , surge gone?

do you have full wot power wide open throttle and up hills?

manual switch in the cab (what is this mod?)
the idle switch must close at idle , then open off idle or the TPS fights the drivers right foot actions. via illegal ISC activation's.
is your TPS idle switch bad? and now hacked? (details matter)

off idle the ISC on right side of TB electric must go off line for sure cruising. that is idle switches job that 100%
