Oil leak - new engine rebuild - Jules - 01-20-2020 Just need some quick advice. I'm not sure if I have 1 or 2 oil leaks. There is a big leak at the oil pan - bottom passenger side (you can see the oil dripping). I'm sure this is because I didn't put enough RTV sealant, AND it's a modified oil pan. No big deal, easy fix. Problem is there is a little bit of oil on the crankshaft pulley, the bolts for the oil pump and the the top of the water pump. There's a little big of spray oil on the back of the timing cover, but the timing belt is completely dry. Do I also have a bad crank seal or has the oil from the pan leak moved upwards somehow? |
