Hey and hello..1991Suzuki tracker. 2dr. Ht. 1.6 ltr
80horse pressure. Repla ed brain. Fuel relay.fuel regulator.
Entire throttle body. Hav plenty of fuel pressure. Turn
The key .fires.dies.push excelerator it dies.oh and wen it starts
Its just 4 TWO SECONDS AND DEAD.

CAN SOME ONE HELP ME ? I MEEN WATS LEFT?
I HAVE A 2ndCOMPUTER ON WAY IN THE AM ON SAT.
I AM REDY TO TEAR ME HAIR OUT WAT LIL I STILL
HAV..........JUST BOUGHT IT ON WED. OLD OWNER SAID
SHE WAS DRIVIN AND IT JUST STOPED RUNNIN.
HAD IT TOWED HOME. SO REPLACED THROTTLE BODY
THINKIN VARNISH..... AND YOU KNO THE REST..
SO DISTRAUGHT IM REDY TO CARBORATE...
BUT THE $ I HAVE SPENT ALREDY. OM GOSH
THIS WAS SPOZTO BE A FUEL PUMP ISSUE
AROUND $200. BUT NOWAY I COULD NOT GET SO
BLESSED.. IM MORD FUNNY THAN THIS ON MOST DAYZ
THANX FOR LETIN ME VENT!!! PLEZE HELP.......

Welcome D....
any thing can be diagnosed.
do not make assumptions, and used parts, do fail or are not good. I'll pretend all parts are bad, it's a 91 and that good practice.
Want to diagnose it or guess ?
there are only 2 ways, only 1 way works every time.
ill ask questions in threes.
1: CEL lamp glowing key on.
2: does it go out , as you crank,
3: do you have a tachometer in the dash?, no car spec, but 4wd has a tachometer 2wd dont. so y/n, tacho. if yes, does it move 1/4 inch as you crank
the 1 on the tachometer is 1000 so at 300 crank speed, it moves 3/10s up scale, as you crank , and if it runs on test fuel the tacho must go as high as the crank shaft did during the test fuel, test, if not , that will KILL injection.
we will find it , i promise, and it all free. (for now) later if you have failure we will prove that, using meters. etc,.
you can in fact rent tools. for near nothing,,, Autos stores, , are you in USA? its

others reading, it runs on test fuel then stops.., he emailed me, and we did that.
we will do test, from easy and cheap to harder and more expensive and not guess.

hello bud.
welcome.
please post car spec. and we dont need to guess, nor buy 3 ECU.s not ever,
we can do some very simple tests, on a TBI car is even easier, 4 injector cars can be much harder, 3 more injectors to messup 5 ways from sunday.
first the year, car.
there are many generations, and year is #1

there are just 3 test to get on track.
1: compression, if 150 PSI , WOT x4 then the belt did NOT slip or strip. the belt must be changed at 60k or its doom city. (found on road dead).. a $20 tool.
2: no spark (or tacho dead) keep in mind, the ECU can not see real spark (30,000 volts) it only sees the tacho signal if dead, the ECU cuts fuel all time or after 3 seconds.
the test spark plug is near free. check spark at all 5 places, up to 1995 or 4 , starting in 1996.
3: bad fueling. (too much , none or too little) spark plug tips, wet/dry( injector squirting or not?)
if TBI car, you can watch live injections. with EYEBALLS. at any time.

please post year car. and displacement if not 1.6L and if 4wd. (or if it has a tachometer in the dash as all 4wd have)
