RE: new member - fixkick - 01-31-2017 with the CAT missing or rodded out, that means the EGR mod is dead for ever. so EGR is dead or worse. goes nuts. just pull the hose off EGR main behind intake runner 4. the golf Tee the end so do it wont suck air. the egr exh. path is 2 days work to fix. super super long hard dirty job. why do that if its dead for ever. are you not In UK? there are no sidekicks in europe' but parts match, many do , G16b G16b are same, but some have no EGR ,like market 1 , your in market 2, UK SIDEKICK is 100% USA/canada spec car. as us Geo Trackers. In Uk is Vitara ,all over the rest of world (but sure Canadian sun-runners too) do a signature, with country on end. and we can take parts, all day long knowing all that. the market code is under the hood. on fixkick.com ,in the search box, type TAG RE: new member - fixkick - 01-31-2017 the egr the EGR modulator up on top of engine, uses CAT back pressure to regulate EGR flow you ended that with rodding out of the cat. just get the MAIN to close, and not leak then defeat it with hose vacuum to it (rear valve removed and plugged) in some cases the MOD can go nuts like this, (complex answer covered on the EGR MOD page) so with carbon blockage now,is a blessing.. |
