Description: front hub wheel bearings. Suzuki actual !
97+ trackers GM dont use this ring but uses a crazy GM only spring locking device and tool.
Suzuki below, :
see ring, see small Phillips head screws?
the red and blue is old use of thread locker.
I have box of new metric, mm flat head screws.
The bearing is a crush bearing, and torque is range high. example 1:
this nut run is at about 180ft.lbs torque.
the torque wrench is set to min spec.
then turned by hand until the lock ring holes aligned for the screws, , this is how it is down right.
set wrong.
the bearings fail in less that 1000 miles (typ)
Timken has proof, they did it wrong all ways and they all failed, ever test bearing
huge long haul trucks use same class of bearing
just huge.
do not set this like dads bike trailer bearings. ever.
set lose. when set correctly the play is .002" at center of hub. fully crushed that is what it does.
