Description: both the IAT and ECT follow this curve. the ECT is very important, the water(coolant) must get to 180F(min) and hold there. and the ECT must read near 300 ohms. if way off , you will waste fuel , and Neither the ECT nor the coolant thermostat work at all with air below the ECT, or STAT.
